Dateline NBC will not air on Friday, February 13, 2026, as NBC shifts its primetime schedule to feature Primetime in Milan, part of its live coverage of the 2026 Winter Olympics. Instead of the usual true crime programming, viewers can look forward to an exciting night of elite international competition.
The evening broadcast will include the men’s free skate in figure skating, the men’s snowboard halfpipe final, and the final runs in men’s skeleton, among other major Olympic events. With athletes from around the world vying for gold, NBC’s primetime block will showcase the speed, artistry, and intensity of winter sports at the highest level.
Dateline will return with new episodes following the conclusion of Olympic coverage. Until then, viewers can stream past episodes on Peacock.
